Our Beliefs
Who we are, what we do, and what we believe.
Thank you for visiting our site today! We are glad you did. We believe that there is a place for everyone here at FBC East Brewton.
We think there are 4 things you should know:
1. Everyone’s welcome here at FBCEB. We help each other grow in Christ and navigate life together. We welcome anyone who wants to join us.
2. We teach the Bible. We believe the Bible is the Word of God. The Scriptures are "alive and active" and "sharper than any double-edged sword." We believe the Bible was written by men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible has one villain: Satan, one hero: Jesus, one theme: redemption, and one purpose: the glory of God!
3. We build relationships We believe that life should not be lived alone. We build relationships through Sunday School classes and the other ministries offered.
4. We love to serve the community East Brewton and Brewton is a special place. We love serving and being a part of this area.
Our Statement of Faith
The Basis of Faith and practice of the Church is the inspired Word of God, the Holy Bible.
The Church Covenant of this Church is expressive of the hopes and purpose according to which our members should strive to live.
We band ourselves together as a body of scriptural baptized believers in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, personally committing ourselves to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind.
The ordinances of this church are Baptism and The Lord's Supper.
This church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of The Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 1963 and revised in 2000.
Our objective is to Exalt Christ as Lord and Savior, to Evangelize the sinner, and Equip the saint.
