First Baptist Church is located at 1201 Shoffner St in East Brewton.  We are a friendly, Christ centered church committed to fulfilling the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. In fulfilling the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-39) we strive to demonstrate our love for God and our neighbor in obedient service to Jesus and selfless ministry to others. The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) is our guide as we seek to help all of our members to become growing and serving disciples.
At First Baptist you will find many opportunities to worship, learn, celebrate, grow and serve the Lord.  Our Pastor, Bro. Macon Phillips and Minister of Music, Bro. Ronny Herrington, leads us in meaningful times of worship. 
Every age can grow in Christ through our Sunday School, Discipleship Training, Student , Children’s, and Preschool Ministries, Women on Mission, and Senior Adult Ministry as well as our various other ministries.
